About the Role:
World Headquarters 101in Brookings, OR is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Monitor food inventory, freshness, and proper storage procedures
- Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, and mise en place
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Follow all food safety, health code, and sanitation guidelines
- Adapt to varying station assignments including grill, sauté, fry, or prep as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a professional kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards (Food Handler's Card a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
